Lee An
Lee is a "glass half full" kind of guy. He's moved half way around the world with three kids (including a three-week-old baby) in tow and faced down war. And yet, he's still smiling. When he was just a child, Lee and his mother were forced to leave Saigon and the rest of their family with a day's notice. He was thrust into an alien environment in the U.S. where he didn't know the people, the language or the culture. Despite these challenges, Lee credits the experience for making him the person he is today - for giving him perspective. "Don't think of it as a problem," says Lee. "It's just a puzzle that can be solved if you're smart enough to figure it out."
Lee's positive attitude is something companies all around the world have come to depend upon. He is a certified Six Sigma black belt consultant and Project Management Professional with more than 15 years of experience. His proven decision-making process is comprised of three key components: a strong gut instinct, in-depth research, and a solid understanding of the issues. He is skilled at managing teams to successful completion of projects - projects that save costs, increase efficiencies and position enterprises for positive change.
If there's something that proves daunting to Lee, he hasn't found it yet. But he's still searching. Eager to instill his appreciation of different perspectives in his kids, he and his wife Meagan travel as much as possible - and the more unknown the destination, the better. "I try to seek out experiences that are very different from my day-to-day life," he says. He'll be hard to spot, but look for the guy eating the strange food whose glass never runs dry.
