Keith Stokke
Keith has always had his head in the clouds. When he was young, he wanted to design spacecraft and fighter planes. He earned two University of Washington engineering degrees in pursuit of that dream… and then he altered his trajectory. Keith looked at major NASA programs – like Apollo – and realized what he loved most was not just designing pieces and parts, but the beautiful orchestration required to do something big. Like launching a rocket to the moon. Or, say, launching a major new product. Or streamlining a process to do it smarter, safer and more efficient. Keith is our Gene Kranz: cool under pressure, frank and demanding at the right times and, above all, goal-oriented.
Keith started out working for a small company, which allowed him to be involved in literally every function of a business. From there he worked his way up. Way up. An engineer’s attention to detail and problem-solving serves Keith well, as does deep experience in supply chain management that he honed in his years at BearingPoint leading critical transformation efforts for clients at several large aerospace companies, as well as the Department of Defense. In addition to his engineering degrees, Keith has an M.B.A., trained at Yale’s School of Management Executive Programs, and has more acronyms and certifications than you can shake a stick at.
When not making the world safe for efficiency, Keith might be found spending time in the backcountry hiking and snowboarding, or sailing on Lake Washington with his wife and son, pride welling up as the roar of Huskies fans celebrating another touchdown travels across the water.
