Jonathan Malanche

Jonathan Malanche has delivered breakthrough results for some of the biggest companies on earth. But it's his work delivering smiles to people on a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean of which he is most proud.

"Not long after starting, I attended a house dedication," says Jonathan. "Watching a family move into their new home was an amazing experience. To see parents finally able to give their kids a place to live - and the sense of security that comes with it - was awesome. It made me want to work hard to organize Habitat's finances and raise money so that we could offer that to more families."

Jonathan provided Habitat with financial representation, developed their website and implemented a CRM system to manage their donor and volunteer base. "Being involved with a nonprofit group on an organizational level made me realize the true value of my education and work experience," says Jonathan. "It's one thing to be paid for what you do. It's another to give the gift of your skills and experience to those who cannot pay you for it. I look forward to participating in other large-scale volunteer opportunities as life permits. It's part of why I chose to work for ACME. I wanted to be part of a business that builds volunteerism into their corporate culture."

Jonathan is no stranger to corporate culture. An accomplished manager and consultant in the information technology field, he brings more than eight years of experience creating solutions for Fortune 500 clients in the industries of aerospace and defense, financial services, automotive, public sector, and oil and gas. He has successfully performed the roles of program manager, project manager, development manager, and application architect in a variety of complex technology engagements. One of the more interesting projects he managed was the creation of a warehouse automation solution for a major aerospace and defense company. Jonathan overcame huge technical and physical challenges to develop and implement a cutting-edge application integrated to SAP that enabled his client to control a myriad of inventory functions on massive, 100-foot-long, 10-foot-high horizontal warehouse carousels.

Jonathan earned his B.S. in business administration/management information systems at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. An avid hiker and backpacker, he spends most of his free time exploring the Pacific Northwest wilderness.
