Carl Hoefer
You'll never see Carl sweat, which is kind of freaky when you consider his daily bike rides. In short, they're long - and fast. But the truth is, this elite cyclist doesn't rattle or perspire easily. He is cool under fire, even when careening around a corner at 30mph on two thin tires. He thrives on pressure-filled challenges, particularly when it depends on getting a team to work effectively together. As Carl would say, "No sweat."
His athletic spirit coupled with a passion for leadership, innovation and finding clarity amidst ambiguity makes Carl a triple threat at ACME. He has led huge strategic change initiatives for some of the biggest names in business, notably within the manufacturing and energy industries. Case in point - one of the world’s largest producers of consumer products is generating more than $1 billion in shareholder value over the course of three years due to a new strategic program focused on margin management and optimization – and they have Carl to thank. A major utility company realized $1.8 million in annual cost savings after Carl implemented a Business Process Management program allowing the organization to automate 28 core internal services and support more than 3,800 end users. Carl graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oregon State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Athletic Administration.
A native Oregonian, Carl spent his youth growing up on a farm, learning early the importance of hard work and overcoming adversity. Whether he’s racing on his bicycle or driving monumental corporate change, Carl is consistent in his ability to connect, cultivate, and grow – all while keeping an eye on the prize, and of course, never breaking a sweat.
