WebTrends
Thanks to the folks at WebTrends, marketers are able to answer the question: "...but
how do we know if our website is actually driving sales?” In fact, thousands
of organizations worldwide, including more than half of Fortune and Global 500
companies, use WebTrends products to answer just such questions about online
campaign performance, search engine marketing, website conversion and customer
retention.
WebTrends had been acquired three years prior and was operating on the
parent company system. They needed to function with the responsiveness
of a technology company grounded in the online world of real time,
but were finding themselves handcuffed.
WebTrends engaged ACME to take them through a
software implementation that would put the dexterity back into
their operations (order processing, fulfillment, SKU / price management,
commissions) and finance (accounts payable, accounts receivable,
general ledger) processes.
ACME was charged with managing the full operations
implementation life cycle, including:
- Requirements definition
- Current state and to-be process design
- System configuration and testing
- End-user training
- System rollout
- Ongoing monitoring activities
WebTrends was so satisfied with the process, they engaged ACME
for the implementation of fixed assets, payroll, and human resources
segment in a follow-on project. Activities included:
