ACME BUSINESS CONSULTING NAMED BEST PLACE TO WORK AGAIN IN 2009

Portland, Ore. - May 20, 2009 - ACME Business Consulting knows how to make big leaps. The Portland-based firm jumped from 38th place to 13th, a gain of 25 points, in this year's ranking of "Best Places to Work" in the small businesses category.

No stranger to doing things right and for the right reasons, ACME founders Scott Demorest, Peter Lizotte, and David Kelleher created their company with balance in mind. Unlike most consulting firms, where employees spend more time on the road than in the office, ACME's co-founders purposely created a model that focuses on serving the local business community. ACME's branding itself as a company that likes to stay close to home.

"I enjoy eating dinner with my boys as much as I do working with clients," says Peter Lizotte, principal. "By engaging clients in the Portland area, I'm able to be a successful father while being successful in my business practice."

ACME's local philosophy, combined with other employee perks, makes for an engaging and enjoyable workplace. Just ask Melissa Camarillo.

"One of the first things I ask when being interviewed for a job is what the person I'd be working for does for fun," says Camarillo, ACME's office manager and a mother. "That answer says a lot about the work environment and expectations."

As ACME continues to catapult toward the top of its industry, expect to hear more about how it's showing the rest of us that work can be a balancing act, and a good one at that.
